Parent Orientation
The Parent Orientation Program for all classes was successfully conducted by the Principal in the month of June, attended by parents and teachers of KMBVM, Pottore. The event commenced with a warm welcome speech by Teachers and Class Coordinators.
Reading Month Celebration 2025
The school celebrated Reading Day on 19th June 2025 as part of the Reading Month with various literary and awareness activities to promote reading habits. Events included speeches, book reviews, recitations, and a quiz, along with a three-day Book Exhibition by Mathrubhumi Books. Dr. Sandeesh P. T. conducted a session on “Safe Internet Usage” for Classes 9 and 10. Students also created class magazines and participated in newspaper quizzes. The Junior Block held speeches, pledges, book reviews, and poster-making contests, encouraging creativity and love for reading.
International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking
As part of the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, an interactive session was held at the school, led by Sri. Arun K, Senior Civil Police Officer, Kerala Police Academy, Thrissur. He spoke about the dangers of drug abuse, sharing real-life experiences that made the session impactful. Students actively participated, gaining awareness of the serious consequences of addiction and the importance of staying vigilant.
Kuttivara - An Art Exhibition
Kuttivara, an art exhibition organized by the students of K.M.B.V.M., Pottore, was held at the Kerala Lalitha Kala Academy from 17th to 21st June 2025. The exhibition, inaugurated by Prof. Abhilash Das, Principal of the Government College of Fine Arts, Thrissur, showcased the students’ creativity through a vibrant collection of paintings and artistic expressions, celebrating color, culture, and imagination.
Investiture Ceremony 2025
The Investiture Ceremony for the Primary, Secondary, and Senior Secondary sections of K.M.B.V.M., Pottore, was held on July 15, 2025, at Shri. P. Chitran Nambudiripad Sathabdi Mandiram. The Primary Section ceremony was graced by Sri. Umesh K. N., Assistant Sub Inspector of Police, Thrissur City, and the Secondary & Senior Secondary by Sri. Rajesh Narayanan, Excise Inspector, Anthikkad. The event began with a prayer and welcome address, followed by the march-past and badge presentation to the newly elected leaders. The student council took the oath of office, pledging to uphold school values and lead with dedication and integrity.
Guru Purnima Celebration 2025
Guru Purnima was celebrated on 10th July 2025 at Shri. P. Chitran Nambudiripad Sathabdi Mandiram under the auspices of the Department of Physics. The programme began with a prayer, lighting of the lamp, and speeches by the Principal Dr. Bindhu and student Annette Tony of Class 10C. Chief Guests Prof. T. S. Kaveri, Retired HOD of Chemistry, Vyasa College, and Prof. Brinda, Retired Principal, Government Victoria College, Palakkad, graced the event. The celebration included Guru Pooja, Gurupaduka Stotram, and cultural performances, emphasizing the importance of the Guru–Shishya bond and expressing gratitude to teachers for their guidance and wisdom.
